Kidchan oh Kidchan. Your art can do no wrong. I loved it in 2007, and I still love it now. Her concepts just blow me away and she has an eye for colors and patterns that have the tendency to turn in to a train wreck at first glance, but the way she handles it is so expertly done that it’s all harmonious and beautiful and perfect. She’s so good I’m forced to make run-on sentences. Also she’s an incredibly sweet and shy person. I wish I got to talk to her more when I met her in AFA.
Aivii I don’t care if you say age doesn’t matter. You’re seventeen and you’ll only keep getting better as you mature so I have to lynch you now too. Sorry I need to keep the competition down. Haha kidding! I don’t think I can talk about Aivii without talking about Poiv. They seem like a power couple. I wish I could talk to them, but I’m shy that way, so I just settle with ogling their beautiful arts from a safe distance. I like how Aivii draws faces and how she uses such bold striking colors. Poiv’s art’s got swag. I love how she varies her line width and her color combinations.
Looshu is another one of those young talented prodigies I need to lynch. (so many people I need to lynch) I love her studies and how effortlessly she can sketch. She also seems to be an incredibly mature person and I just love reading about her insights about art and how she approaches her work.
I can’t believe I’m not following Algae-bloom yet. I must remedy that. This girl is amazing! She has such a wonderful design sense that she incorporates with her art. I love her mixed media works and how sharp her style is. Love at first sight. Love at first sight.
